Courses we offer
Basic First Aid
Duration: 1day
Cost: € 80 (discounts given to group bookings)
Any help is better than no help!! No matter your ability, you can be a first aider too. This course covers all the basic principles of first aid. This course can be adapted to suit the specific needs of your school, club, or business. Are you neurodiverse? Have a physical disability? No problem, we adapt and carter to all learning styles and abilities
Basic First Aid is designed to equip learners with the skills knowledge and confidence necessary to provide immediate care to injured or ill individuals until medical help arrives. In house training that can be adapted to meet the needs of any learner. Anyone can help save a life!
Topics covered:
- Assess the situation and identify any hazards
- Call for emergency services
- Perform CPR and the use of an AED (automated external defibrillator)
- Identify and treat heart attack, stroke, and chocking
- Stop bleeding and dress wounds
- Treat burns, fractures, and other common emergencies
First Aid Responder (FAR)
Duration: 18hrs or 3 days
Cost: € 230
A PHECC (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council) First Aid course is a comprehensive training program designed for individuals who want to learn how to provide basic first aid an emergency. This course is covered over three days (18 hours) and includes both theoretical and practical components. In addition to first aids skills, this course also covers how to communicate effectively with emergency services, how to maintain their own safety and how to remain calm in a stressful situation.

On completion of this course, participants will receive a PHECC certificate of competency. This will be valid for two years. This certificate can be used to meet workplace or regulatory guidelines.
Refresher courses need to be completed before your current cert expires.

Cardiac First Responder (Community)
Duration: 1day

The Cardiac First Response (CFR) course is designed to equip leaners with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond efficiently to cardiac emergencies. After completion of this course learners will be able to recognise a cardiac arrest, be able to perform CPR and be competent in the use of an AED

Manual Handling
Duration: 4 hours

Protect your business and your employees!! It the duty of the employer to provide all employees with Manual Handling training as set in the Safety Health and Welfare Act 2007.
Manual Handling course are designed to teach the individual how to safely lift, move and handle heavy and awkward loads in a of workplace settings. This course provides practical training and instruction to participants to understand the potential risk associated with manual handling tasks.
The aim of manual handling is to promote good workplace safety and reduce the risk of injury.

Fire Safety and Fire Marshalling

This course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of fire safety, enabling you to help prevent fires, respond quickly and efficiently in the event of a fire and protect the lives and properties of those around you.

Infection prevention and control

Infection Prevention and Control course is designed to educate individuals on the principles and practices of preventing and controlling infectious diseases in various settings.

Rigging and Lifting
Duration: 3 days
The Rigging and Lifting course is a training program designed to teach individuals how to safely and effectively operate cranes, pullies, cables and other devices for lifting and moving heavy objects. Participants learn how to identify potential hazards and how to use proper lifting and rigging techniques to prevent accidents and injuries.

Banksman / Slinger

Banksman/ Slinger course is designed for individuals who are given the responsibility of directing cranes and other lifting equipment.
